Happy Global Running Day!
Fun Fact though... I hate running.
But while stationed in Germany, I decided to challenge myself and train for a half-marathon. Was it comfortable? Not at all and the hardest part wasn't even race day... it was getting started.
I've found that a lot of things in life are like that. The unfamiliar often feels uncomfortable at first, whether it's training for a race, learning a new skill, or having conversations about your finances. Sometimes the biggest obstacle is simply taking the first step.
The good news? You don't have to have everything figured out before you begin. Progress often starts with a willingness to move forward, one step at a time.
On this Global Running Day, here's your reminder that growth rarely happens inside your comfort zone...and that's okay.
