Typically this requires down press time and custom tooling to conduct. We however have found a way to gain a deep understanding of the dynamic circumstances that affect each individual press during a live press run. Dry offset is a type of printing here the inked image gets transferred (the offset) from the plate to a rubber blanket, and then to the printing surface. Our dry offset option is good for a letterpress application. We get you the materials you need for your specific application, it's our speciality. Dry offset can also be used for other things such as pad, can, cup, carton, and other types of printing. platecrafters.com

Rubber is the traditional material used in flexo printing. Rubber is molded from Magnesium Engravings in a pressurized oven called a Vulcanizer. Not as many printers utilize Rubber plates, but it’s perfect for many unique applications. PlateCrafters is one of the few trade shops. platecrafters.com
