Pride Month is a celebration of love, individuality, and equality. It’s also time to reflect on past struggles and support ongoing efforts for LGBTQ+ rights. Across the country, we see the danger of rising extremism, and that’s why Illinois continues to stand up for LGBTQ+ rights. This Pride Month, be proud of who you are and love out loud!

On LGBTQ Families Day, we celebrate families of all shapes and sizes. At the end of the day, all it takes to make a family is the love you share with yours.

Thank you to Rep. Didech, Rep. Gong-Gershowitz, and everyone who worked on this important piece of legislation to protect Illinoisans from the dangerous aspects of AI. I am Grateful to stand alongside colleagues who are committed to creating thoughtful safeguards as this technology continues to evolve.

Illinois soybean farmers were recognized on the House Floor earlier this week as State Rep. Katie Stuart highlighted our Loyal to the Soil initiative, showcasing the many ways agriculture benefits both urban and rural communities across Illinois.

Thank you to Representative Stuart for helping share the story of Illinois agriculture and the impact of our state’s soybean farmers.

I started my morning at the ISP legislative breakfast and had the opportunity to chat with Director Kelly before heading into session, caucus meetings, and committee hearings for the day. It was great to sit down together and discuss public safety priorities and the important work being done to support communities across Illinois.
