When I started Amethyst Ridge in 2020, I didn't know what was ahead, only that I was severely depressed at 4 months into the pandemic, solo parenting a 4 month old and 3 year old while my husband's worked 12hr night shifts on rotating schedules at the local hospital.

I needed something outside of motherhood, I needed to create beauty at a time when my world was full of fear and isolation.

This business became apparel by necessity, but was founded in woodworking.

When the time comes for it to revive, it'll be back in it's original form.

Witches & Wizards is my favorite event each and every year. No comparison.

This year might be my favorite yet, though. With no admission it's open for everyone to participate from 5-9pm in downtown O'Fallon, IL.

There are a ton of amazing vendors to browse but if I'm being completely honest, my favorite parts are the performers.

Stilt walkers, 💀less horseman, dancers, drag tarot, costume contest and so much more. The food and drink vendors are showing out this year too!
