HGT will be closed on January 29th from 11am-6pm Central. Our customer emergency line will remain open, but all non-emergency requests will be handled Tuesday.

It's been a frantic few weeks since SUMMIT. We met a lot of great people and saw a lot of old friends. In some cases we even met people face to face for the first time even though we've been friends for years. SUMMIT was a huge success any way we look at it.
We had about 125 people in attendance by the end of the day. Even the morning sessions had twice as many attendees as we were expecting (sorry to those we didn't know were coming!). We can't begin to express how much we enjoyed meeting with everyone that came. Our goal is to find a way to bring this same experience to as many of our customers as possible, even those who couldn't come to Florida. Hopefully we'll find a way to make that happen soon. Either way we were so happy with SUMMIT that we are committed to making it an annual event. We can't wait until next year.

Higher Ground Technologies - Employee Blog We are happy to announce another completed upgrade project in our hosting facility, the transition to our new Watchguard Firebox M440 Firecluster. This project gives us full firewall redundancy and crazy performance.

HGT SUMMIT is in 5 days. We have 111 people currently registered so we expect it to be a packed house. We have some great sessions scheduled:
Kevin Brunson will discuss the technology behind our hosting environment, what makes HGT different, and how you can apply the same philosophy to your own network.

Tyndall Wakeham from Blackpulp will demonstrate effective methods for integrating your ChMS with your public website.

Gene Mason from CrossPointe Church will describe the challenges he faced when his church went multi-campus and how he succeeded with multi-campus simulcasting.

After all that we are going big with a BBQ dinner sponsored by HGT and Blackpulp.
