Tomorrow at 3:25pm, when Calvin Austin steps onto the field against the Bills, he’ll be representing Memphis families, Memphis kids, and the heartbeat of My Town Miracles — right there on his cleats.

🚲 Helping build an adaptive therapy bike for a boy with cerebral palsy
🏈 Speaking life into Melrose High athletes, reminding them their dreams matter
🛒 Sending grocery money and essentials when families didn’t know how they’d make it
🧪 Launching a STEM Camp so kids could imagine a future bigger than their zip code

That’s Calvin.

🛒 MEMORIAL FOOD DRIVE 2025 “Hope in Action. Service in Motion.” This week, the Warriors Center had the honor of serving alongside My Town Miracles at the Fred L. Davis Memorial Food Drive in Orange Mound. This wasn’t just about handing out groceries—it was about showing up with love, purpose, and real hope. 💛 🗣️ “It’s been a momentous experience to feed the community… to see so many faces light up, knowing that there is still hope in this world.” — Shared by one of our Warriors Center men Warriors like Anthony Blackman, Silas from Next Day Access, and others from our program rolled up their sleeves and served with heart. These men didn’t just hand out food—they offered prayer, compassion, and dignity to every neighbor they encountered. We’re deeply thankful to My Town Miracles and RedZone Ministries for making this incredible outreach possible. ✨ Bringing Home Baby | The Blessing ✨
93 Parents. 108 Babies. One unforgettable day.

On Saturday, July 19th, My Town Miracles and Red Door Urban Missions welcomed 93 parents and 108 babies to the most joy-filled celebration: our 3rd Annual Bringing Home Baby Community Baby Shower.

After guests were treated to an amazing lunch, the celebration continued as families made their way to the second basketball court — a space transformed by months of generosity, thoughtful sorting, and the helping hands of so many.

Every parent was paired with a volunteer ready to serve. With arms full of diapers, baby clothes, bottles, blankets, and even cribs and car seats, families selected what they needed most with dignity and joy.

As cars were weighed down with essentials, you could feel the weight of worry lifting.

Our faithful MTM volunteers, accompanied by groups from VML, Les Passees, Memphis Football, Hope Church, CMDS, Love Memorial Baptist Church, and Brown MB Church, made gift distribution seamless.
STREETS Ministries offered their space with open arms, and in-kind support came from Chick-fil-A MidSouth, Hicks Convention, Sunbelt Rentals, and Germantown Church Diaper Ministry.

One mama told us,
“This helped me in more ways than I can count. To go from having nothing to being almost ready for my baby girl is the best feeling any mother could ask for.”

This was more than just a shower.
It was a glimpse of what community can truly look like.

✨ Bringing Home Baby | The Celebration ✨
93 Parents. 108 Babies. One unforgettable day.

On Saturday, July 19th, My Town Miracles and Red Door Urban Missions welcomed 93 parents and 108 babies to the most joy-filled celebration: our 3rd Annual Bringing Home Baby Community Baby Shower. 💛

Guests were greeted at the door with custom boutonnieres crafted by The Mane Wilding and EH Blooms. Smiles lit up the gym as families checked in and met vendors offering services, products, and support.

For families who brought children, Love Memorial Baptist Church's youth group from Goldsboro, NC jumped right in with crafts and play so parents could fully enjoy their day. Charlie, a student from CMDS, even sent a full puppet-making station to spark creativity and fun.

As the music turned up thanks to DJ SMOOVV, NSE Studio invited families to take portraits in front of her stunning photo backdrop. Then came the games — baby trivia, lullaby guessing, and lots of laughter — with prizes from Chick-fil-A MidSouth and more.

Fullview MB’s Men’s Ministry grilled up plates of delicious chicken, mac-n-cheese, green beans, and Famous Amos cookies to fuel the fun. The joy in the room was undeniable as volunteers from Hope Church and Brown MB’s Pivot Young Adults ensured every parent felt seen, loved, and served.

Full hearts and full bellies.
Thank you to every single volunteer who loaded cars, held babies, refilled supplies, served meals, and made this feel like more than an event. It felt like family.
