Last night at the Orpheum’s High School Musical Theatre Awards Draco Playhouse’s production of Water for Elephants won in four categories.

Best Lead Actor-Hayden Hooper
Best Lead Actress-Maggie Dinstuhl
Best Supporting Actor-Jordan Farley
Best Featured Dancer-Addison Northcott

Hayden and Maggie will move on to compete in the National High School Musical Theatre Awards (The Jimmys) in June in New York City at the Minkoff Theatre. This is the first time in the 18-year history of the local awards that Best Actor and Best Actress have been from the same high school.

Coach Seymour and your CHS Trqck and Field Team have done it again! For the third year in a row, they are bringing home the Tennessee Track and Field State Championship!

This incredible group of student athletes also earned a new D1 AAA Scoring Record

WE ARE COLLIERVILLE!!

Your 4x400 mixed relay bring home a state title! Khari Webb secures 3rd place in the 100 hurdles, while Addison Young brings home 6th. In the 100M Kylie Walden places 2nd, Kylie Barksdale 4th, and Kennedi Woods 5th. Gabrielle Gulstrom places 3rd at state in the 1600M. The Dragons are on FIRE!!

Three more State Champs in the books! Ava Williams secures the state title in pole vault with a 13’9” Tennessee record. Khari Webb runs away with the state title in the 300M hurdles, and Kylie Walden secures the state title in the 200M.

Long Jump scores are in at State! Onese Aigbomian brings home 2nd place, Khari Webb secures 3rd, and Anna Buckhold comes in 6th. Way to go, Dragons!!

Your CHS Baseball team beat Nolensville last night 5-2 to advance to the final four of the TSSAA State Tournament. The Dragons will take on Farragut at 2:00PM today. Good luck and GO DRAGONS!

Our CHS retirees were recognized last night at the Collierville Schools Board Meeting. Congratulations to Ms. Holly Walter (French) , Ms. Marci Ostrander (Discipline and 504 Secretary), Ms. Shelly Misenheimer (ESL) and Ms. Ivonne Bentley (not pictured-AP Calculus AB/BC). We want to wish them all the best on this next chapter.
