This week, we also celebrated the graduation of the 2026 Adult Leadership class! These professionals have spent the last several months bonding and learning what it takes to keep Collierville a premiere community.

The graduation was held on Collierville Town Square and attended by Mayor Maureen Fraser, Interim Director Terry Dean, the Board of Trustees, Leadership Alumni, and friends and family of the graduating class.

After the ceremony, the group enjoyed a reception at Maeve's Tavern sponsored by Joyce McKenzie with Crye-Leike Real Estate Services.

This class didn't just learn about the community, they gave back in a big way.

The class presented a check for $350 to support the Collierville Library Expansion! They raised this money by "fining" members for showing up on time to their sessions throughout the year. Talk about professional discipline for a good cause! Lisa Plath, Collierville Library Director and Leadership Alum, accepted the check on behalf of the Library.

This class is also championing a project to install 911 location markers on the Town’s greenbelt trails. These signs provide specific location numbers to dispatchers, ensuring that help can find you quickly in an emergency on the trails.

Welcome to the Alumni network, grads! We can't wait to see how you continue to lead in our Town.

We are bursting with pride as we celebrate the Youth Leadership Class of 2026! We had a graduation ceremony on Collierville Town Square this week joined by Mayor Maureen Fraser, our Board of Trustees, and family and friends of the graduates.

Interim Executive Director, Terry Dean, share how the students spent the year going behind the scenes of our Town to discover their own leadership styles. The students were recognized individually with a pinning ceremony.

We'd like to give a special congratulations to Brookelyn Boyd! Brookelyn was awarded the Jessica Willhite Scholarship for her moving essay about her experience in the program.

The Jessica Willhite Scholarship honors the memory of Jessica Willhite (Class of 2002), a dedicated leader who left us far too soon.

Please join us in the comments by wishing our graduates the best of luck in their next chapters as they continue their leadership journey!
