Wow, now that Flickr has got rid of their paid plan, I can actually see a bunch of my old photo's that I had archived there, but lost from my PC.

Akaka Falls is one of the most impressive waterfalls on the Big Island.
This 420 ft waterfall is spectacular and requires a short 750 ft walk down a nicely paved path for the best viewing. While breathtaking, I actually preferred some of the smaller waterfalls that required longer hikes, or allowed for a closer view. Literally standing on the edge of Rainbow Falls with almost all sound masked by the white noise of crashing water had my adrenenline pumping like nothing else...

Our first night on the island I was treated to a gorgeous sunset looking out from the Mauna Lani Resort Golf Course.
Unbelievably, the next sunset I observed was 10 days later, our last night on the island.
