Since 1963, the Texas State 4-H Horse Show has stood as a hallmark event celebrating the dedication, talent, and leadership of Texas youth involved in the equine industry. Held each July, the show brings together more than 350 4-H exhibitors and their families from across the state for a week of high-quality competition, learning, and lasting memories.

Reanna Santos, Miss Rodeo Texas, is a shining example of a 4-H Alumni that is to take on the world with leadership, diligence and grace.

Originally from Brazoria County, Reanna grew up immersed in 4-H, serving the organization through her positions as a Texas Equine Ambassador and a County Council Officer. She was also competitive in contests such as parliamentary procedure, public speaking and science fair, as well as with her horse projects.

Reanna earned a Master of Science in Rangeland, Wildlife and Fisheries Management and a Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness with minors in Agronomy and Ranchland Ecology, both cm laude, from Texas A&M University. Through her role as Miss Rodeo Texas, Reanna has worked closely with professional rodeos, rodeo associations and community organizations to preserve western heritage and keep the western industry alive and flourishing in today’s society. Reanna attributes much of her development and success to her time spent in 4-H.
