Houma, LA - Open to travel.

On The Loose in Chambers/ Liberty County TX. NEEDS HELP: "There’s an injured unaltered male Rottweiler that has apparently been living in the edge of the woods here in Devers. I just saw him yesterday and stopped to check on him. He was very hungry and has a problem with back right leg or hip, possibly pelvis. I have no way to know for sure but I know he is injured and he needs help. I have 5 dogs of my own. Can yall help him or direct me to someone who can?"

God bless the spouse who forgoes the last leg of his flight, 🛬 hits up the rental counter for a vehicle, 🚘 and heads to the shelter by way of Petsmart for emergency gear to save a life. And kudos to DAS for their supportive help in making this happen through special arrangements for the sake of not 1 but 2 lives. 🐶🐶 From the Urgent and MVP lists, Rottweiler Rescue Society welcomes two Rotties that were rescue-only. We acknowledge this is quite the unusual ask but these girls really need a huge village so we are sharing for donations to their sponsored Rescue. R.E.A.L helps many Texas dogs so now they need help from Texas and other states.

As of 10 p.m. Thursday 10/16/2025 Spice is still in ICU. She has made small improvements in fighting off pneumonia but still requires oxygen to help her breathe. Her sister has recovered enough to be discharged to home medical foster care.
