God is in this story.

God gave me the passion for agriculture.
God gave me the love of working with my hands and the ability to speak to people.
God put so many incredible people in my life that have helped build me to where I am at today.

I founded my company off of Proverbs 16:3 “Commit your works to the Lord and He’ll establish your plans”

officially bought my first reproductive bovine creature. It may not seem like a big deal, but this is the start of my dream. She’s a Registered Gardner cow that just calved out a Gardner sired bull calf. The plan moving forward is to AI her with genetics.

I swore “when I got in the cattle game” that RAB would be my first stop, and I’m using this cow to do exactly that. Not only because the genetics are great and I’ve seen their bulls at work, but the family has been one of the best connections I’ve ever made and working alongside in the digital space has been an honor.

The story behind this is a full circle, God created, wild tale that will be released soon. But I could not have done this without literally pushing me off the metaphorical cliff. Sometimes you need your friends to do that, and it says a lot to have people in your corner that believe in you enough to help pull that trigger.

I’ve been in the cattle industry in a wide variety of ways across the world, but I’m excited to finally have the title producer added to the resume.

It was only fitting the first calf be tagged with 163 after the verse that started it all, God is definitely in this story.

I’m starting small, but I hope you join and grow along with me as I learn from a first generation perspective!

And both delicious in their own way…

Belted Galloway cattle is a traditional Scottish breed derived from the Galloway region of southwestern Scotland.

they were established as their own separate breed in 1921 and come in black, dun or red colors but always have that iconic white middle stripe of white.
They are adapted for rugged cold, climates reaching mature body weight of 1,000-1,300 pounds for cows and 1,600 - 2,000 pounds for bulls.
They are naturally polled (no horns) and are double coated, shedding their shaggy outer coat during hot weather.

Not the typical breed you see at the sale barns in the Texas Panhandle, but their iconic color markings are hard to ignore!

There has been a quote on my facebook profile since the day I created it: "Don’t let someone whose dreams killed, kill yours."

If you’ve ever tried to build something from the ground up, you know how real that is.

Not everyone will understand what you’re doing. Some will question it. Some will doubt it. And some will project their own limits onto your vision. A lot of times, that doesn’t come from experience building something, it comes from walking away from something.

This journey has stretched me in ways I never expected. There have been hard lessons, uncomfortable growth, and moments where quitting would have been easier than continuing. I’ve had to learn fast, adapt constantly, and develop resilience in real time.

But I’m still here.

Still building.
Still learning.
Still chasing what I know God has called me to do.

And moments like this, becoming a media partner with the AgTech Innovation Summit, seeing my logo...my BRAND on their website reminded me that staying the course matters. That showing up, even when it’s hard, leads somewhere.

What I’m building is bigger than just a business. It’s about helping bridge the gap between rural and urban communities. It’s about telling stories that need to be heard and creating understanding where there’s been distance for far too long.

So if you’re in the middle of building something and it feels heavy, keep going.

Not everyone is meant to understand your vision. But that doesn’t make it any less worth pursuing.

Why are producers struggling?
We loose 2,000 acres of farmground to urbanization EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.
Input costs are rising, work force availablity is shrinking and natural resources needed to grow your food and fiber are disappearing.

But your beef supply is STRONG

Product of the USA is now here!
86% of your beef at the grocery story is USA beef already, nearly all foreign beef is in the form of lean trim to make hamburgers.
USA beef LOWEST beef greenhouse gas emissions in the world since 1996, accounting for only 2% of GHG.
The amount of beef produced per animal increased by over 67% between 1961 and 2019.

Your beef is safe here in the United States, no matter if it is farm to table farms or grocery stores. But I think we ALL agree that American made should get top dollar of American pay!

Exciting things in the beef industry! Thank you Katie Pavlich and NewsNation for having me on!

One year ago, I walked into the Animal AgTech Innovation Summit not knowing many people and with very little understanding of the animal ag technology space. I left inspired by the people, the research, and the innovation shaping the future of production agriculture.

This year, I had the privilege of returning as a media collaborator and the experience was even more meaningful. Watching companies I met last year continue to refine their technologies, strengthen their software, and collaborate with one another to better serve producers has been incredibly encouraging. The level of investment in time, resources, and innovation across this space is impressive.

Through Double E Ranch Advocacy, I am grateful for the opportunity to help share and amplify these stories. The work being done is helping producers around the globe become more sustainable, more economical, more environmentally responsible, and ultimately more profitable.

Agriculture is constantly evolving, and the people behind these advancements are committed to strengthening the future of food production. I am thankful to be part of the conversation and excited to see what the next year brings.

Agriculture truly is the best industry to be a part of.

Proverbs 27:12 says, “The prudent see danger and take refuge, but the simple keep going and pay the penalty.”

Discernment is not fear. It is wisdom in motion. It is the quiet nudge that tells you when to move cattle early, when to hold grass for another month, when to invest, and when to wait.

In agriculture and in the western way of life, discernment is built through seasons.
Through drought and abundance.
Through good markets and hard years.
Through long days that test your faith and the moments that remind you why you started.

A rancher learns to read the land. A stockman learns to read livestock. And over time, a believer learns to read the path God is placing in front of them. Proverbs 27:12 reminds us that wisdom is not just knowledge. It is choosing the right step before trouble arrives.

It is trusting God enough to pause when the gate should stay closed and to move when the door opens.

Discernment keeps us from stepping where we should not. It protects what we have been entrusted with. It guides decisions that affect land, livestock, families, and future generations. It reminds us that faith and stewardship go hand in hand.

In every season, highs and lows alike, we are called to walk with wisdom. To listen. To watch. To trust. And to move with intention.

Because sometimes the most faithful step forward… is the one God tells you not to take.

The numbers tell an interesting story.

Beef sales are rising.
Meat alternatives are declining.

That is not marketing. That is consumer behavior.

At the end of the day, people are reaching for food they recognize. Food with a single ingredient. Food that has nourished families for generations. Real beef raised by real ranchers.

This is not about attacking other choices. It is about acknowledging what shoppers are clearly saying with their dollars. They want transparency. They want simplicity. They want real food.

Just like what and have been promoting: EAT REAL FOOD.

Beef delivers high quality protein, essential nutrients, and a direct connection to the land and the people who care for it. From pasture to plate, it is one of the most honest food systems we have.

When consumers choose beef, they are choosing rural communities, stewardship, and a product backed by decades of nutrition and safety research.

The consumer has a voice. Right now, they are choosing real.

He is not here. He has risen. ✝️🌿

Today we remember the cross, the empty tomb, and the ultimate sacrifice made out of love for us. Jesus laid down His life so we could be forgiven, restored, and given new life.

“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” John 15:13

Because of Him, there is hope.
Because of Him, there is grace.
Because of Him, love overcame death.

This Easter, I am grateful for the mercy we do not deserve, the sacrifice we could never repay, and the promise of redemption that was freely given.

He is risen. He is faithful. He is our hope.

Happy Easter from Double E Ranch Advocacy.
