Coldspring Methodist Men

Tomorrow morning in the Church Gym we will have our Emergency Support Service (E.S.S.) sponsored Self-Defense class! The instructor is John Shaughnessy, who is a Krav Maga practitioner and volunteers regularly at Care Share. His background and how he came to study martial arts is an interesting story which he will tell us.
The class is geared towards "seasoned" adults and the pace and atmosphere will be casual. John will show several ways to break free of holds, discuss situational awareness, how to use items readily available to you in order to defend yourself, and answer any scenario questions you might have.
Wear comfortable clothing! See you in the morning!

Do not forget Wednesday October 9th @ 7:00 A.M. (This Wednesday) our very own District Attorney Todd Dillion will be our guest speaker!

Pastor Dewitt and his wife, Becky braved the cold and gave ash Wednesday blessings to people in the parking lot.
