Photographing this newborn brought me back to when my girls were just born. Everything was so fresh, raw, and overwhelming at times. I remember having to rethink EVERYTHING. No doubt most new parents feel the same. These two are doing great navigating this whole new world.

In addition to family photography, I also photograph weddings.

In fact, I photograph my family sessions in pretty much the same way I photograph weddings.

AND after months of keeping this special news concerning my wedding photography a secret, I can finally announce:

I almost could not believe it when I received the email asking me to participate.

The contest has always been an inspiration to me but not one I ever imagined being a part of. Although, I did not make the final cut I was very thrilled just knowing that industry leaders have considered me possessing “promising talent, artistic prowess, unique voice and creative direction in wedding photography”!

Every family should have a multi-generation family photos. These photos will be cherished for generations.

I love photographing children. They are actually my most favorite subject. Just let them be themselves.

I have had people mention to me that it is beneath me to do school photography.

I believe that it because school photos are often cheesy and do not speak to the personality of your child.

I ADORE school photography.

My three girls are nearly grown, but I recently came across an old photo of all of us together. It appeared that I was "wearing" my three girls - each hanging on or in my arms. I miss that and this photo reminds me of that feeling.
