Our girl Myleigh got put through it yesterday!! She was a perfect example of why they say you gotta be tough to be a catcher man!!

Kenzie has been tellin me for over a year I should let her pitch and I always thought she was joking since she hadn’t pitched since she was 12. We had her start our first pool game and she rocked it!! She jinxed herself tho cause now she’s in the rotation!!

Yesterday was a rough day but a great day for the STATIC 18u ladies!! 6 games and 15 some odd hours later, only having 8 girls on the field at times, these girls lost in the semifinal game having showed heart grit and a love for each other and the game that was undoubted. It’s been a rough year on and off the field and some have fallen off, but these girl that are working through it are getting better and better everyday and earning every bit of adoration they’re getting.

Yesterday may not have went as we hope but we got a lot of good feed back and bonding done and first tournament jitters out of the way.

7 girls batting over .333 4 of which are over .500 and a couple great slugging percentages. We got a great foundation to build on and we’re looking forward to the rest of the season for sure.
