Yard revamp with a curtain drain for the pesky deck run off. I tied in the drain for the ice maker for good measure and tossed some top soil on for their yard which will be sod in the near future. The rest of the landscape is yet to be determined so where a potential retaining wall and steps will be going was left alone.

Last week’s water/sewer in Blanchard. Included 150 of 1-1/2” waterline and 375’(5 cleanouts) of sewer tying into an existing septic system. We also installed some rain leaders and did some test holes for a much larger secondary drainfield coming in the near future.

🙄 how many acres is tubbs?
The City of Coeur d’Alene has collaborated with the Kootenai County Office of Emergency Management team and the Idaho Department of Lands to successfully apply for and receive a grant for fuel mitigation work to reduce the risk of fire on Tubbs Hill. This grant allows $240,000 in contract costs for fuel reduction work performed on the Hill. This initiative will not only help reduce the risk of fire in this treasured natural area but also improve forest health. After a brief freeze on grant funding, the project is now in the planning phase and will soon go out to bid. The city will host a public information meeting on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. in the Coeur d’Alene Library Community Room. All interested parties are welcome to attend.
All Coeur d’Alene community members and neighborhood groups are invited to attend the upcoming meeting to ask questions and provide input and recommendations to ensure that the draft code addresses neighborhood compatibility. The meeting format will be a Zoom webinar with a presentation, live polling, and an opportunity for input and questions. Attendees will have an opportunity to be called upon to speak, similar to council and commission meetings.
The virtual meeting will be held Tuesday, April 22, 2025, in the Coeur d’Alene Library Community Room from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m.

“No equipment on our driveway” We had a labor intensive yet fun opportunity to stack a small block wall that lasted nearly 20 years with 0 drainage behind it. After utilizing the small work space allowed and playing with some valve boxes we tossed the railing back on and bid this one farewell. Grateful to have more backs to break other than just my own.
