Had a great work day. Cleaned holes 8, 9,12, and 14. Cleaning holes 18 and 19 to makes them more enjoyable. They had piles of palm fronds in the fairways that the park employee refuses to pick up. After 3 months couldn't take it anymore. Thanks to Rob Lilja, John Precious, Glen Knight, Jim Sorenson, Chicago Mike and Bob Westfall for their hard work, the course looks great.

Great news, the water has receded quite a bit. Hole 4 green is still a wash. But other than that the course is in good shape.

We are having a work day on Feb. 6. Starting at 9:30. This is in preparation for the Am. Melbourne Open. Lunch will be provided. So come out, bring your tools, gloves and whatever to help get the job done.

The course is kinda wet. Hole 2 don't go right, it's pretty mushy. Hole 4, you don't want play this hole, water is standing on the green. Hole 22 pin fairway and green has about 1" of standing water. But believe it or not it's actually drier now then it was a couple days ago. And with the dry air, things are looking good.

The 2016 Melbourne Open Pro Weekend presented by Discraft Discs. is coming up before you know it. Minimum $2250 cash added to the purse. This is a PDGA sanctioned A tier event. Signup Early - Signup Often.

Was thought the 2 disc challenge was starting earlier then 12 as flyer states, but I was wrong. Starts at 12. Oh well. Come on out and support this event. It going to be good time and a boost to our funding new baskets.

First event of the year. Two disc challenge presented by Dynamic Disc. They will have their mobile store there so you can purchase some discs. Let's make this a great event!

Handicaps on the last Sunday of the month. Bring out that new Christmas plastic and give it flight.

Discaliber Disc Golf Club will be having handicaps here on Nov. 1. If you don't have a handicap, no problem, come sign up to establish a handicap for only $2.
