Down2Earth-Rocks and Minerals was founded in 1998 in Boca Raton, Florida as a Rock, Mineral, Lapidary and Jewelry Design business . Down2Earth took a hiatus for several years and was not active during the period between 2000 and 2014. Down2Earth was relaunched in 2014 in Hillsborough, North Carolina with a greater emphasis on Mineral Collecting with its primary focus on Micromounts, Toenail and Thumbnail mineral specimens.
