It has been a bit, but I'm very excited to share some recent work. I always put everything I have into a photography session, and it feels so good when the results are beautiful. Family, maternity, engagement, and more, please let me know if I can create some images for you!

Before I took my first photo for this years #365+1project, I wondered how this calendar year could compare with the significant changes that occurred during the first two chapters of this project...and...WOW what a year, its been a wild one. I have leaned heavily on the abstract side of photography lately. With so much time at home, and the hustle of family life, time to make a photograph each day tends to get pushed to the end of the line. I have included a few samples from the last couple months. In just a few weeks, chapter three of the project will be complete, and the halfway point of the entire project. See you again in 2025

A couple different animal pictures from this years #365+1 project. Two male turkeys battling over the love of a lady bird right outside our house. The bald eagle was off the side of the highway, it was the closest I have ever been to one, it was huge when it took flight, super cool to see.

It has been sometime since my last post, but the #365+1 goes on. I can hardly believe I am over 1/3 of the way done with this chapter. These images are back from early March. I was on jury duty in Madera. I have always been excited to photograph places in disrepair. Within their rugged nature, the composition, shapes, and uniqueness grab my attention.

I spent a large portion of my adult life sleeping in way past the sunrise, and working during many of the sunsets. Light was something I had never really taken the time to appreciate. That changed when I had the chance to work with a group of incredibly talented photographers at West Coast Imaging. They helped me see how light changes everything, how light itself, is a photograph worth making. With this years #365+1 project, I have been trying to see light, in many ways. These are a few of the recent images.
