Driver killed when roof rack falls off passing car, crashes through windshield A driver in Michigan was killed Sunday afternoon when a kayak and roof rack fell off a passing vehicle.

Details for this year's glow kayaking event can be found on the Downtown Fremont page. Kayaking Ohio will not be participating in it. We hope the new kayak business has a safe and successful event. BUT... I'd like to take this time to announce that after ALOT of thinking and praying that this, our 8th season, will be the last one we are in business. There are too many factors to list that lead us to this decision. The cost of insurance and replacement of equipment, along with fuel and other factors going up it's going to be very difficult to run the business the way we would like to. We will still be in business through this season so please use any and all gift certificates that you might have. Also all of our equipment (boats, paddles, life jackets, trailer, van)will be for sale at the end of September, not before then tho. Thank you to EVERYONE for an amazing run. We have had the best 8 years!!!
