Today’s Hands-Only CPR Training Workshop was a success – our participants were so engaged and eager to learn.

A big thank you to Listos California and Fresno Asian Business Institute & Resource Center - ABIRC for allowing Raymundi CPR to lead this important training, designed especially for our hardworking farmers who often don’t have access to lifesaving skills.

This wasn’t just about technique – it was about building confidence, reducing fear, and strengthening our community’s sense of care for one another. Knowing how to help in an emergency brings peace of mind, emotional reassurance, and a shared responsibility to protect loved ones and neighbors.

We provided the class in English and Lao to ensure everyone could learn comfortably. Special thanks to Alex and Valerie with ABIRC – your dedication and positive energy made today’s training run smoothly. You both went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt welcomed and supported.

This course does not provide official CPR certification. However, participants will still gain valuable life-saving knowledge and hands-on practice. The training is designed to help anyone feel more confident and prepared in emergency situations.

Get your blood pressure checked at least once a year and understand what the numbers mean. Severe high blood pressure combined with symptoms such as chest pain or trouble speaking may be a hypertensive emergency, according to the new high blood pressure guideline, and you should call 911 immediately.

Why is AHA CPR Training More Expensive?

A student recently told me they were offered a CPR certification class for just $15. I said—go for it if it meets your needs!

But here’s the difference:

The American Heart Association (AHA) is the gold standard in CPR, AED & First Aid training:
✅ Required by many hospitals, schools, and licensed professions
✅ Backed by top medical research and strict national guidelines
✅ Includes official certification and regulated training standards
✅ Recognized nationwide

Other options like Red Cross or HSI may be more affordable and perfectly fine for general knowledge or non-medical jobs—but they may not be accepted for healthcare or licensed positions.

Bottom line: Not all certifications are the same. With AHA, you’re getting trusted, professional-level training that could save a life—and open doors. ❤️

Last year, I became a Faculty Instructor through the American Heart Association—and I’m proud to share that I’ve just been renewed to continue in this role!

Since then, I’ve continued offering mobile CPR and First Aid trainings across Fresno County—meeting teams and families where they are, from classrooms to staff breakrooms to community centers.
