Clinton Methodist Church Kid's Clothing Exchange

Hello, todays clothing exchange a child was wearing her cream colored carhartt winter hat. She placed it down on top of her bag for a few moments and someone picked it up. It was a Christmas gift and the child is pretty upset over this loss. If any of the participants, maybe unknowingly, picked it up can they please reach out so that we can return the hat to the rightful owner. A picture is attached. Thank you

We had a Wonderful 2025 Fall Kids Clothing Exchange. We helped clothe 110 families with all leftovers items going to Willow Pregnancy Center, Thea Bowman House, Rome Rescue Mission, Prospect and Thifty Shopper. Contributions totaled from the sale $367. The proceeds are sent to the Willow Pregnancy Center.

Our next event is Spring Kids Clothing Exchange is Saturday, April 25th.

Donations may be brought to the church, April 20th thru April 24th from 9am - 3pm. We will do evening drop offs, April 22nd, Wed. and April 23rd, Thurs from 4pm - 7pm.

To work at the sale Saturday, April 25, (runners and sorting) and to clean up afterwards (noon - 2pm ish).

We need you to pin your outfits and pajamas together, AND need volunteers to put out clothes. Thank you so much! Hope to see you there! 😊

We had a Awesome 2025 Spring Kids Clothing Exchange. We helped clothe 139 families with leftovers spring and summer items going to Willow Pregnancy Center, Thea Bowman House, and Thifty Shopper. Contributions totaled from the sale $329.75. The proceeds are sent to the Willow Pregnancy Center.

We need you to pin your outfits and pajamas together, and need volunteers to put out clothes. 


Also, Offering evening drop offs - Tuesday, October 14th and Thursday, October 16th from 4 - 7pm. 😊

We had a spectacular 2024 Fall Kids Clothing Exchange. We helped clothe 135 families with leftovers fall and winter items going to Willow Pregnancy Center, Thea Bowman House, the Center, Rescue Mission, and first ever church Halloween Festival, in which we provided button down shirts and jeans to make scarecrows. Contributions totaled from the sale $326.32. The money is sent to the Thea Bowman House.

Donations (good, clean, used Items; 0 months to adult S, and baby equipment; strollers, play pens, board books, etc.) can be drop off at the church, Monday, March 31st thru April 4th, 9am - 3pm.

We are also doing evening drop offs, Tuesday and Wednesday, April 1st and 2nd from 4pm - 8pm.

You will receive a blue ticket which allows to enter at 8:30am on April 5th.

We need volunteers to help us sort clothes and work on the day of the sale. Please safety pin your pjs and outfits together.

The next Kids Clothing Exchange will be held on Saturday, October 19th, from 9 am til 12 pm in our church fellowship hall.
Please mark your calendars and tell your family and friends. Please bring in good, clean, and used items (zero months to adult small) and baby equipment (strollers , pack n play, board books, etc. ) that you want donate.
Items may be brought to the church, October 14th - 18th from 9 am - 3 pm.
In addition, we are offering evening drop offs; Wednesday, October 16, & Thursday, October 17, from 4pm - 8 pm.
Clearly mark your “NAME “ and “KIDS CLOTHING EXCHANGE “ on the bag. People who bring in items before the sale, will receive a ticket to admit them to enter at 8:30 am on October 19th.
We are asking caretakers to sort their own clothes and possibly volunteering. Also, pin pjs and outfits together.
