Okay y’all, I’ve been putting something together that I’m really excited about. 🌱
I’m teaming up with a farmer/plant medicine educator to do something a little different — Plant Medicine + Wilderness First Aid.
We’re going outside, learning about plants that are actually around us, talking about what they’ve traditionally been used for, and getting into some real-life wilderness situations.
I also want to connect this to something I’m really interested in — taking what we find in nature and turning it into things we can actually use, especially for the skin. We’ll be talking about things like infused oils, and herbal preparations.
And we’re not just going to talk about plants like they’re magic cures. We’ll talk about what actually makes sense in a first-aid situation, what plants can and can’t do, safety, and when you need to leave the plants alone and get real medical help.
Basically… learn the plant, learn the first aid, learn how to make something with your hands. 🌿🩹🧴
If you’re into nature, hiking, foraging, gardening, herbalism, skincare, or just becoming a little more self-sufficient, come hang out with us.
