We had a blast at last night's free showing of My Teacher Octopus at The Clyde Theatre, and we hope you did too! This event was in partnership with two of our neighboring libraries, Langley and Freeland, and with the support of Friends of Clinton Library, Friends of the Langley Library, and Friends of the Freeland Library.

Invertebrates in the Salish Sea 🐙 Thursday, Oct. 1, 6:00pm–7:00pm
with the Clinton Library at Clinton Community Hall
Hear interesting stories about invertebrates in the Salish Sea: their life histories, biology, and behaviors.
Presented by Dr. Brian Bingham, Director of Marine and Coastal Science at Western Washington University. Dr. Bingham studies the ecology of marine invertebrates with an emphasis on cnidarian-algal symbiosis.
This event is part of Sno-Isle Reads Together.

Next Thursday, September 24 at 6:30 PM, we are partnering with The Clyde Theatre in downtown Langley to offer a free public screening of the documentary My Octopus Teacher, which follows the story of the year filmmaker Craig Foster spent with a wild octopus.
This event is funded by the Friends of Clinton Library, , and the Friends of the Freeland Library.

Let's Dance - "Luigi" Jazz
Saturday, September 26, 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM
Clinton Community Hall
This 90-minute session features: “Luigi” Jazz with Daunne Zinger.
No prior dance experience is required, just come ready to move and have a great time!
Be sure to wear comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle. Soft sole or dance shoes are recommended. Face towel or hand fan and a yoga mat are optional.
This program is a collaboration between Clinton Library, Freeland Library, and Langley Library.
