When I first started making jewelry I struggled with the fact that maybe this art form wouldn't make a difference. What was the point- vanity? Adornment? I desperately wanted to do more than just put more stuff into the world.

It's projects like this that remind me that my ART DOES MATTER!!

I recently had the privilege of making this loon piece for a sweet customer who lost her Dad.

They shared a love of loons, camp, fall leaves, & looking at the moon together.

His ashes are hidden behind a tiny raw emerald, I figured the remaining ashes belonged nestled in a tiny jar with herkimer diamonds.

I hope there are more people out there that want special things, slowly made with love & intention.
