Update: Tax tip for 2024 filing
They did keep the 2000 child tax credit for 16 and under and 500 tax credit for 17 and over!
If you have a business that is an LLC or a Cirporatiin through tge Secretary if State's Office. You may be required to submit BOIR for the CTA through FinCEN. Please contact the office directly for more information.

As another year comes to an end we are approaching 2021 Tax Filing season. The question of the day is have you got an appointment scheduled? We also have a new member to the Duft Accounting team Suzanne Dills who also will be excepting appointment this year.
Holiday Schedule Update:
Duft Accounting will be closed in observation of the upcoming Holiday. Our office will be closed Thursday Dec. 23 to Sunday Dec. 26th. We will reopen with normal hours on Monday Dec. 27th.

With 2020 Tax Season approaching there are a few things I want to bring to every ones attention before they come into there appointments or drop off there Taxes.
1) Did you get a stimulus check?
A) If yes how much?
2) Did you get a PPP Loan?
A) If yes how much and when?
3) Did you receive unemployment this year?
A) If yes did you get your 1099?
4) Did you invest in Bitcoin or any other virtual currency?
A) If yes did you get a 1099, if not more info in needed.
2020 is a different year and a lot of new thing have happened so if something has changed please inform us.
