What a run!

The Rebels went on the road, battled through one of the toughest regionals in the country, and found a way to keep the season alive. That’s what championship-caliber baseball looks like.

The Bulldogs defended their home field, created memories that will last a lifetime, and punched their ticket one step closer to college baseball’s biggest stage. From the energy at Dudy Noble Field to the passion of the Bulldog faithful, this regional reminded us why Mississippi loves baseball.

Congratulations to Southern Miss on an incredible season! āš¾ļøšŸ¦…šŸ’›šŸ–¤

The Golden Eagles represented Mississippi with pride all year long and left it all on the field this weekend.

Hot bats, multiple lead changes, big moments, intense competition, and even an ejection—this game had a little bit of everything that makes college baseball so special.

Mississippi college baseball never disappoints. From Hattiesburg to Oxford to Starkville, our state continues to prove that some of the best baseball in America is played right here at home.

Congratulations to Southern Miss on a great season and thank you for making Mississippi proud. The future remains bright in Hattiesburg.

You could feel it from the very first pitch… this one was different. āš¾ļøšŸ¶

When Tomas Valincius took the mound at Dudy Noble Field in front of more than 15,000 of his favorite fans, the energy was electric. His very first pitch registered 100 mph—the fastest pitch of the night. If you weren’t watching the radar gun, you probably missed it, but it set the tone for everything that followed.

Valincius was simply dominant, attacking hitters and keeping Cincinnati off balance all afternoon.

Meanwhile, the Mississippi State bats stayed hot. There were hit batters, great sportsmanship, and even a head-to-head athletic battle between Jacob Parker and Cincinnati’s second baseman that had fans on the edge of their seats.

Of course, it wouldn’t be Mississippi State baseball without a little late-game drama. The 8th and 9th innings were a bit more stressful than Bulldog fans would have preferred, but the Diamond Dawgs answered every challenge.

Final: Mississippi State 10, Cincinnati 5.

The Road to Omaha continues through Starkville, and Dudy Noble Field once again proved why it’s one of the greatest atmospheres in college baseball.

Join Made in Mississippi as we cheer on the Diamond Dawgs in the Starkville Regional Final!

What a Regional for Ole Miss Baseball! āš¾ļøšŸ”„

If you like baseball drama, Lincoln, Nebraska has delivered.

Game 1? A 14-inning marathon that didn’t end until 1:17 a.m.

Game 2? Weather had other plans. After battling Nebraska Saturday night, the game was suspended in the top of the 9th inning due to storms and resumed Sunday at noon.

The Rebels picked up right where they left off and finished the job with a 6-3 victory over Nebraska! šŸ¦ˆā¤ļøšŸ’™

Extra innings. Late nights. Weather delays. One more win.

Now it’s time to cheer on the Rebels again tonight at 7:00 p.m. as they continue their journey on The Road to Omaha.

Hotty Toddy! āš¾ļø
