The annual Summer Reading Program for kids and teens kicks off on Monday, June 29!

Kids up to 5th grade can visit the Library to sign up, get a log, and a Read & Bead necklace. Stop by the Library throughout the summer and show us your log. You'll earn beads for each box you fill in, and you can add them to your necklace. When you’ve filled in all the boxes, you’ve read 10 hours and completed our reading challenge. Bring your completed log back to the library to get all of the beads you've earned plus a ticket for a prize raffle.

Students entering grades 6-12 have their own summer challenge! Stop in to get a reading passport. Complete the challenges throughout the summer to win a gift card to an area restaurant.

In addition to reading, we have a lot of events and activities planned, including a Foam Party Summer Kickoff, a magic show from our favorite magician, dino-themed STEM activities, and more! To keep up with everything that’s happening, make sure you're signed up for our weekly e-newsletter. Just email [email protected].
