What you need to know for our dance and musical theatre company auditions!

📍RISE Performing Arts- 9 Campion Rd New Hartford, NY 13413 (above Cafe CaNole).
📆Thursday, June 25th
🌟Ages 5-7 4:30 PM-6:00 PM
🌟Ages 8-10 5:30 PM-7:00 PM
🌟Ages 11-18 6:30 PM-8:30 PM

Students auditioning for the DANCE (only) company, should have proper dance attire, hair up neatly and all necessary shoes. Tap, Ballet and Jazz shoes recommended.

Students auditioning for MUSICAL THEATRE company, should have a 32 bar audition song prepared to present at auditions before or after the dance portion. Please bring a back track (karaoke version is fine) or be prepared to sing a’capella. Musical theatre will also be required to audition in dance however only in ballet and/or jazz. They may audition for tap as well, although not required.

Pre professional assessment: same as above for both dance and theatre. You should let us know at arrival whether or not you are interested in the Company/competitions.

Audition fee: $20 payable via Venmo or cash upon arrival.

Our emphasis is on personal growth, artistry and proper technique to prevent injury. Our professional staff takes company students to the next level, encouraging them to reach personal goals while providing students with outlets for additional opportunities through regional and national competitions, workshops, conventions and performances.

If our company (competitive level in both dance AND/OR musical theatre) interests you, register below and choose "AUDITION" for your "class.” There is a $20 audition fee. You are not required to commit to the company if you are accepted onto the team.
