…and the actions told me everything I needed to know. They showed me exactly what I needed to see. Now I can move forward.
There are people who know a lot about your life and still don’t truly know you.
God had to teach me why.
Lesson 3: Some People Want Access To Your Life Without Participating In It
from my series 12 Lessons God Taught Me About People.
Understanding this changed the way I see certain relationships.
If you’ve missed Parts 1 and 2, start there.
We’re only getting deeper from here.
Stop auditioning.
Stop proving.
Stop earning.
God taught me that healthy people don’t require a performance to see your value.

Being Needed Is Not The Same Thing As Being Loved

Tried a new breakfast spot yesterday and it’s now about to be our “go-to” breakfast spot!
FIRST WATCH in Glen Burnie, MD! The food was delish!!…but what really stood out the most was how friendly everyone was, especially Ebony and Niyla who made sure we were well taken care of!…seriously, they had a bright, positive energy vibing through that place and for us…it’s not just the meal that makes the dining experience memorable…it’s the people.
They also just opened one in Waldorf, so you know where to find us next weekend! Check them out and see for yourself! 😂😋🥰☕️☀️
I also made this video available as a template in CapCut so you can share your favorite eat spots too! Tap the link to try it out! https://www.capcut.com/tv2/ZTBCB7L3g/ Dining Review | Food
I didn’t know it was self-abandonment.
I thought it was kindness.
I thought being a good person meant giving endless grace, endless understanding, endless chances and endless benefit of the doubt.
Then I found myself in environments where self-absorption, manipulation, exclusion and dismissal were so consistent that I could no longer explain them away.
The patterns became impossible to ignore.
At some point, the evidence became louder than my excuses.
I was just trying to earn a living and take care of my family. I wasn’t looking for discernment.
Discernment came looking for me.
