Working on caps at the shop today.

Looking back at a project from 2021.

When cleaning masonry please don't let someone with a power washer come out and spray.
Some good strong vinegar will do most of the masonry cleaning needed. be sure to get some industrial 30% or a specific masonry cleaner and get out the brushes and hose.
1- Soak the masonry with water especially when using a masonry specific cleaner. It will help the
cleaner stay on the surface of the masonry and not soak into the masonry. You don't want it to
soak in. It will increase the deterioration.
2- scrub with a hard bristle brush, deck brush, or masonry specific brush. Not a wire brush.
3- rinse of dirt and cleaner.

Winter set up in the shop building mailboxes.

I am planning to manufacture some mailboxes at my workshop this winter. Should I opt for the large mailboxes instead of the standard size? The pic is standard.
