Following a scuba excursion on vacation, Trevor began to experience plummeting oxygen levels, strokes, and seizures before being diagnosed with diffuse systemic sclerosis — a rare autoimmune disease that changed the course of his life.
While autoimmune diseases impact women at much higher rates, about 20% of people living with autoimmune disease are men — and we need to hear their stories and break the stereotype of what autoimmune disease looks like.
