My friend is trying to convince me to do a trail run 5K in October. Today was a slow 2 miles after too much BBQ indulgence yesterday. Still not too bad tho!

Let’s be real. I don’t feel like doing a DAMN thing right now. This week I have been tired, cranky and lacking motivation. But every day I have made it a point to move my body, work my body and praise my body. I’ve got limited time before I’m back to full time work, running my child to activities and all other things that are just part of life. This week I’ve worked hard at keeping my momentum up to keep my anxiety from creeping in. Successful for the most part but I’m smart enough to know it’s always lurking in the wings, waiting for me to let down my guard. So I fight back by getting up and getting going even when I do not want to. This summer I have seen my body composition change. That is what I’m using to fuels me to push through when I’m not feeling it because I love where this is headed. Join me! 💪🏻

The humidity is bad up here too! But I’m still doing the work.
