Not every child gets to celebrate their birthday with balloons, games, and fun….
So we make sure they do 🎈💙
At Laura’s Home, birthdays are more than cake and decorations….they’re a chance for every child to feel seen, celebrated, and deeply loved.
Because every child deserves to feel loved. ✨

A little unexpected joy from the Crossroads garden 🐇💛
Our residents have been working alongside volunteers to create a new garden space. While tending the soil, something extra special was discovered— a tiny nest of baby bunnies.
It was a sweet reminder that growth often happens in ways we don’t expect.
As residents invest time and energy into creating something beautiful, each man is also building confidence, community, and a sense of purpose.
And this week, they got to witness a little new life along the way 🌱
At the heart of our work is faith, community, and a shared commitment to making a difference.
We’re grateful for moments of worship, time in God’s Word, and fellowship around the table. As our team grows, we’re looking for people who share our passion and purpose.

As he helped set up for Running With a Mission, one graduate reflected on the event that first opened his eyes to something bigger.
“It all started at a run they gave every year.”
What stood out wasn’t just the race—it was the people.
“They do all of this without any charge to us. They want to help us.”
Through the support of this community, he found more than a place to stay. He found hope, guidance, and a deeper relationship with Christ.
“They showed me how to live differently… how to honor Christ.”
This is what Running With a Mission is really about.
Not just the miles—
but the impact they have on lives like his. 💙
If you’ve ever thought about being part of something like this… we’d love to have you.

“I almost got a bullseye. It helped me try things I haven’t been able to do before. It made me feel really good… being here with my sister and my friends.” 💛

“This place has changed my life.”
“I was confused. I had finally given up. Years of pain and suffering had taken their toll.”
He walked through our doors carrying little more than a bag. What he found was something he never expected:
Love.
Not just help—but real, unwavering, life-changing love.
“I didn’t know what love was until I came here.”
When we look back on graduation day, we're reminded that the caps and gowns tell only part of the story.
Behind every graduate is a journey of healing, growth, and restoration.
“It’s about brotherhood.”
“It’s about discovering that you're not alone.”
“I’m still growing... but I don’t walk alone anymore.”
Through faith, community, and the power of God, lives are being restored every day.
“God is so good and so real.”
The ceremony may be over, but the transformation continues. 💙
She had never graduated from anything in her life.
So when she had the opportunity to graduate from Laura’s Home, it meant everything. 💛
She even bought a few new items to celebrate—finally able to experience a milestone she had never reached before.
But through our Faith & Finance class, something shifted.
She began to see there was another way—a way to save, to plan, and to build toward the future she wanted.
And she chose it.
This is about more than financial literacy.
It’s about confidence.
It’s about dignity.
It’s about believing a different future is possible.

Because of you, our tiniest residents are thriving.
While little hands reach for toys and curious eyes explore the world around them, babies at Laura's Home are surrounded by love, care, and the essentials they deserve.
When we shared an urgent need for baby wipes and shampoo last week, you responded with incredible generosity. Thanks to you, our infant room is stocked and ready to care for every child who comes through our doors.
Thank you for helping make moments like this possible. 💙
