Our master planning / multi-family shipping container development project on the near east side has been on delay for some time now due to funding issues. It's now gaining steam. Check out the coverage on channel 5 news.

New program aims to level the playing field for developers of color Along East 73rd Street and Detour Avenue in Cleveland, you will find homes holding on for dear life.

Two shows, one night.
In our space will be a collections of 34 paintings by Sean Wheeler. If you've seen his work before, this is an entirely new body of work that has not been shown in any gallery.

Incredibly appreciative of AIA Cleveland for honoring our firm with two merit awards at this years awards ceremony. This one is for the Monmouth Residence in Akron Ohio.

Nestled in an undeveloped thicket between two homes on Monmouth road, the Eastern corner of this client’s lot plunges ten feet downward. We designed the house to allow rainwater to naturally flow off of the roof foregoing downspouts and gutters, the chosen design reflects the site’s topography, its mass changing in concert with the slope of the land. Exterior windows are isolated to opportunities where natural light and a connection to the outdoors is desired. The Monmouth home is clad in black corrugated metal, its exposed foundations extending from the earth to highlight its form.

The project is an adaptive re-use of a historic mixed use building located at the far end of the Alliance downtown historic district, near The University of Mount Union for the purpose of new student housing. The concept for the renovation is the result of melding contemporary interventions with historic, switching between the two frequently with some ambiguity. This creates a complex dialogue of two woven languages, not relying on the modern trope of distinction being the only solution. Here, two languages merge to create a cohesive contemporary experience through the interplay of old and new.

In celebration of Juneteenth, we have an incredible show tonight called Architechtonix. It includes a body of work by seasoned local African American artists Chester Hopkins-Bey and James Quarles. We hope to see you tonight! Show runs from 5-9pm.
