Had the pleasure to finally present 1928publichouse their trophy as voted for by the attendees at the 2026 Cleveland Espresso Martini Festival. Their Pistachio espresso martini won the People’s Choice Award. Congratulations! We look forward to having 1928 Public House and Encore Cocktail lounge back in 2027 to defend their titles.
Sips Collective couldn't be more pleased with the turnout at the inaugural Columbus Espresso Martini Fest in association with OYO and Middle West Spirits . You showed up and sipped out and embraced a late day caffeinated vibe.
Guests enjoyed 9 different espresso martini recipes all using OYO Honey Vanilla or Character vodkas.

That's right...more than 3,000 mini-espresso martinis were served to the sold-out Columbus Espresso Martini Fest's crowd - Stone Bar and Kitchen in Bethel emerged as the overall champ and is crowned "2026 Best Espresso Martini in Columbus". The pistachio coconut cold foam was the game changer. .makers

Our final judge is Bob Vitale! He has been a journalist in Columbus for 22 years and has written extensively about government, politics and the LGBTQ+ community for The Columbus Dispatch, Outlook Ohio, Alive and Columbus Monthly. Meet our second judge, Charles Schlabach, both barista and bartender is no stranger to the crosshairs of cocktails and coffee. In Columbus he served cups of both at the now-shuttered Parable Cafe and is currently doing so at The Lion in Bexley. Espresso martinis are traditionally garnished with three coffee beans. The beans symbolize health, wealth, and happiness. This tradition comes from Italy, where Sambuca is served with three coffee beans called "con la mosca," meaning "with the fly."
The garnish is a small nod to the Italian coffee culture behind the drink.
