This home was designed by an architect to house this rare instrument of historic significance.

What is safety banding? It's a specially-designed pattern added to transparent glass to prevent glass collisions with potentially serious outcomes. We don't always see glass or perceive its distance properly. This product adds a midline pattern that the human eye can process. And, it's not as easy to install as you might think.

Suntrol provided a custom solution for 40,000 panes of glass at a hospital. Completed in spring 2018, the custom-designed film we helped develop for this project enhanced glass integrity, restored the appealing exterior aesthetic, and improved energy efficiency for the building.
