Had the chance to visit and it did not disappoint. The vibe was perfect for a relaxing break. The geisha pourover from was incredible. The food was delicious. Hands down one of my favorite coffee shops I've had the pleasure of visiting.

Rolled out of bed, walked across the street to my polling location, as soon as I walked into the parking lot, I got rushed by multiple people handing out party flyer handouts. I’ve voted in multiple elections but have never been rushed and overwhelmed that quickly and that aggressively. Go vote. Ignore the party handouts!! FREE COFFEE ALL DAY FOR VOTERS AT CALICO JACK!!

Can’t believe I got to check this off the bucket list in May and again in the same year. Nature is incredible and I’m legitimately so unbelievably happy I was able to take these photos. I was so worried and had so much FOMO on seeing all my friends back in Ohio who are taking all these amazing photos and then Minnesota got an insane surge. I can’t wait to actually edit these this weekend/upcoming week. I just quickly transferred this from my camera and threw some quick Lightroom adjustments on it.

Nothing crazy tonight at observatory park. Just coyotes, good friends, cold weather, and a clear sky (til about 10:45) but no northern lights. I’m sure I’m going to see posts from friends and family who got the rare chance to see them again but I’m really happy with the experience I had tonight. I actually turned my camera off completely at one point and just laid on my blanket and watched the meteors. I think I’m starting to realize that being in the moment and experiencing that moment is more important than capturing the perfect shot. The instant gratification I get from likes, comments, shares doesn’t hold a candle to the experience. just laying there hearing the crickets, frogs, and coyotes howling while you watch stars and nebulas millions of miles away is breathtaking. Space is cool as f**k y’all.
