Who can apply?
- Anyone can apply! However, the program is best suited for younger chapter members (i.e. Sophomores or Juniors) who are looking to apply for Greek leadership this coming cycle.
When is it?
- The Academy will take place Friday, October 20th (4:00-8:00 pm) and Saturday, October 21st (9:00 am-5:00 pm). These dates are the Friday and Saturday of Fall Break. Though The Academy is during Fall Break, you will still have free days! You can attend The Academy and still have time to travel or relax Sunday-Tuesday :)
Will there be food?
- YES! Food will be provided!
What activities can I expect?
- The Academy's curriculum contains many activities designed to spark dialogue, team-building, and problem-solving. This will include games, large and small group discussions, brainstorming, and chapter meetings. These activities will fall under a variety of themes, which include (but are not limited to) Purpose, Trust, Values-Driven Leadership, Appreciation, Communication, and Empowerment.

The Greek Life Office will be selecting 3 Greek Life students to take over the official Instagram account. If you are interested, please send us a DM for consideration. The takeover will take place over the next couple of weeks. This will give you the chance to showcase the details of what it’s like to be a Greek life member at CWRU.
Rules for the takeover:
Curate videos/ pictures maximum on stories throughout your day highlighting these specific areas: academics, extracurriculars, social life/activities, sports, and or anything related to Greek Life.
No more than 10 videos/pictures maximum on the IG story.
Answer these specific questions throughout the video: why did you choose your chapter? What do you like best about your chapter? And who is your big and how have they impacted your Greek Life experience?
Please remember that this is the official Instagram account for the office, so make stories appropriate!
