For reasons like sound and emission control, things have be purposely done to meet a controlled standard for production lines. This is a common example of a practice done by Yamaha. By stopping the throttle at 85%, a controlled sound level was met. By simply bending a tab of metal properly, dyno tests yielded increased power by 27%. These and other tricks of trade are everywhere on all models. I specialize in exposing and correcting these things to unleash the full potential of your engine. Years of dyno testing have proven the modifications work successfully.

****DISCLAIMER **** Don't go do this to your bike unless you have the proper tuning tools as this mod allows the throttle to open past 100%. There is no ECU tuning above 100% so it must be properly adjusted or you will damage your engine.
