2022 is turning out to be our best year yet. we bought our first home, I got a new job and now we’re preparing to add another member to our little family. beyond excited to take on this new chapter together 🤍

I’ve joined the amazing communications team at and since then I haven’t stopped smiling. Taking the jump out of news was indeed scary but I’m so glad I did. Always listen to your gut - it’s probably right.

Goodbye TV News

For almost a decade I have worked in one of the coolest jobs around - local TV news. Many of you may not even know but I actually got my start at Cleveland 19 working behind the scenes for a short period of time. But then I made my way to News 5. Eight years ago at just 22 years old I truly started my TV career, talk about a dream come true. I have met some of the most incredible people along the way who’ve become my best friends, confidants and family. I am forever grateful for the opportunity. But I’m here to say I’m leaving the news industry to take my career in another direction.

Thank you to all of the News 5 viewers who I’ve interviewed and interacted with over the years. Thank you for allowing me to tell your stories, welcoming me into your homes and communities and giving me the opportunity to make a small difference along the way. I will always cherish the stories I covered but more importantly the lessons I learned from so many of you. All of these experiences have made me who I am today. News 5 has some of the best and sweetest viewers - truly.

To my News 5 coworkers, past and present, thank you for everything. I love you all so deeply. You’re a large part of the reason I stayed as long as I did. So many of you are my family and I would literally be lost without you - in life and at work. You’re the best damn group of journalists and I was always so proud to say I worked with you all. You all played a role in helping me grow professionally and personally and I’ll never be able to find the right words to show my appreciation. Keep kicking butt and changing lives. Your stories matter so keep fighting and standing up for what’s right.

My last day on air with News 5 Cleveland will be this Friday, Feb. 25.

I am not leaving Cleveland, so yep, you’re stuck with me y’all! As for what’s next, stay tuned 😊
