Every Thursday, we take a moment to recognize the incredible people who make our mission possible. ๐Ÿ’™

This week, we're celebrating our Friday morning all-star volunteers!

Pictured left to right: Stan, Audrey, Tom, Michael, Marjorie and Victoria. Together, this amazing team has contributed more than 5,500 volunteer hours to MedWish MedWorksโ€”a milestone they reached last week.

Their years of dedication and consistent service have made them an invaluable part of our warehouse team. From sorting and counting medical supplies to packing supply boxes and preparing shipments, their hard work helps ensure lifesaving medical resources reach the communities that need them most.

As our Chief Supply Chain Officer Jennifer Buck shares:
"Our all-star volunteers are the backbone of MedWish MedWorks. Their reliability, dedication and knowledge allow them to take on advanced tasks that help keep our operations running smoothly. We are incredibly grateful for the time and commitment they give to our mission."

Thank you once again to this incredible team of volunteers for their dedicated service and the difference they make every day.

When hospitals need critical supplies, every shipment matters.

Today, our team loaded a 40-foot container of critical medical supplies and equipment for the Cleveland Maidan Association, bound for Ukraine. CMA President Dr. Taras Mahlay joined us onsite as more than 12,000 pounds of lifesaving resources began their journey.

Valued at more than $165,000, the shipment includes endoscopic instruments, hospital gurneys and other critical medical supplies that will support frontline hospitals and medical facilities in western Ukraine.

A portion of the shipment is also designated for the Cleveland Urology Medical Mission, which will return to Ukraine this fall to provide reconstructive surgery for patients affected by the war.

Together with dedicated organizations like the Cleveland Maidan Association, we're helping ensure vital medical care reaches those who need it most. ๐Ÿ’™

Lights, camera, action! Today, the spotlight was on the stories that power our mission.

The team from Hyndsight Productions visited MedWish MedWorks to capture the people and purpose behind our work.

Our CEO, Britta Latz, shared how we're advancing health equity by connecting medically underserved communities with vital medical supplies and care. The crew also interviewed one of our dedicated medical brigade volunteers and a clinic patient, whose stories reflect the lasting impact of this work.

We're excited to debut the finished video at our annual MedBash on October 3. Stay tuned!

Some of the best lessons happen outside the classroom.

Recently, students from Baldwin Wallace University's TRIO Upward Bound program spent the day at MedWish MedWorks sorting donated medical supplies that will support healthcare in communities around the world.

These Cleveland Metropolitan School District students are spending their summer preparing for college through classes, living on campus for five weeks and even taking a college tour to visit MIT and Harvard in Boston. We're grateful they also chose to spend part of that journey giving back.

Happy ! ๐Ÿ’™Thank you for lending your time and energy to a mission that reaches far beyond our warehouse.
