Day 1 and 2 of VBS have been nothing short of an Irish Adventure and full of lots of Blessings!!

Kicked off VBS tonight with a delicious meal! Join us the rest of the week. Dinner will be served at 5 pm, VBS starts at 5:30. Menu for the week is in the last picture.

The Board of Social ministry has placed a barrel in the entrance of the church for donations to The Caring Place of non-parishable items. Current need is canned protein (tuna, chicken, spam, Vienna sausages, etc).

Also, next Saturday, June 20th, we will have a workday at the Caring Place from 9-12. We will be sorting items, stocking shelves, checking expiration dates, and doing anything else needed. There is a sign-up sheet in the Narthex. Contact Rachel Pierce for more information.

Remember: Senior Luncheon is Thursday June 11th at 1:00 pm - B and B Marina (117 Marina Drive, Charleston, TN 37310).

Ever wondered how you can make a difference to children in foster care? Check out this event coming up on June 13th!

Have you ever thought about fostering at some point in your life but just did not know where or how to get started? To be honest it can seem overwhelming. Pastor Shane Brown has partnered Westwood with Tennessee Kids Belong and we will be holding a Next Steps Foster Care Panel on June 13. So if you have questions and would like to know where to get started this is for you!

Have a blessed Trinity Sunday!

“Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and of the Holy Spirit.”

In our 1st-3rd grade class, we talked about the Trinity and how all of our analogies can never help us truly understand how God is three in one. We made triangles with each angle representing a part of the Triune God, and we made s’mores to show how chocolate, marshmallows, and graham crackers and the three things that make up this delicious treat!
