Last week, Trinity Cathedral welcomed history lovers from across Northeast Ohio as part of Cleveland History Days 2026! More than 45 visitors joined us over two tours, each led by dedicated volunteer docents and featuring a 90-minute exploration of Cleveland’s story alongside Trinity’s own remarkable history.

Thanks to grants from The Episcopal Church’s Gender Justice Office and the Diocese of Ohio, registration costs have been reduced to just $100 for a single room or $70 for a shared room.

Juneteenth commemorates June 19, 1865, when enslaved people in Galveston, Texas finally learned they were free—more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. It has long been honored in Black communities as a day of remembrance, joy, resilience, and liberation, and became a U.S. federal holiday in 2021.
