Tanker 41 made the nearly 1 hour response to Devers to assist with a commercial fire on U.S. 90 W.

403, Ladder 42 and Tanker 42 responded to Love”s Truck Stop for a possible vehicle fire.

Cleveland Fire Department personnel and Boat 42 joined other departments for a rescue boat operations class recently. They are staying prepared for possible operations in the future.

Ladder 42 was invited to the Middle School today to help cool down the students after practice.

CFD Tanker 41, and 42 were asked to participate in honoring a pilot who was going to retire but his company closed before his retirement so he missed out of the honors paid to a pilot on their last flight. We were able to help the airport, and his family to honor him today. Video to follow.

Cleveland Public Works and Cleveland Fire working to clear a large tree in the roadway on South Fenner near Clay.

Engine 42 and 401 responded to the report of multiple vehicle MVC with patients trapped and one of the vehicles smoking. Tarkington VFD was also dispatched to the scene. Tarkington’s crew worked to free one entrapped patient while Engine 42 worked of freeing the second trapped patient. Acadian EMS had two units on scene and one patient was transported by helicopter with HCA Airlife. TX DPS is investigating the incident, also on scene assisting was Liberty Co. S.O., Pct. 5 and Pct. 6 Constables Offices, and TXDOT.
