Two engines worth of Raby/ LN Engineering billet 911 cylinder heads. These are ready for a twin plug 3.6L 930 Turbo engine and a 4.1L 993 N/A engine that are next into the clean room.

Of course we could buy air filter assemblies. Of course they would be cheaper than designing, programming and CNC manufacturing our own in house. Here it is about making each engine our own, and hitting the green button to start the machining cycle ourselves. Here hand craftsmanship and Made in America still headline everything that we do.

RAT 2320cc destined for a Porsche 356C. Here’s the “cam burn” at initial start up on the RAT Dyno. Seen here are some of the RAT V3.0 DTM cooling system components. We’ll fit the V3.5 serpentine pulleys as soon as they are finished in our CNC lathe this afternoon.

A lot goes into creating an engine. Often overlooked is the time that goes into making fixtures for procedures so every part or modification is performed with exactness. Here’s an example of fixtures designed and CNC machined in house at Raby Machine Works that hold factory rocker arms so they can be CNC machined for the clearance required to utilize Porsche 911 valve adjusters.
