Ever wonder why you keep doing the things you hate and struggle to do the things you know you should? You're not alone. Even the Apostle Paul wrestled with this in Romans 7.

Here's the truth that will change everything: You don't act like you matter because you feel valuable. You begin to feel valuable when you start living the life God created you to live. Your purpose produces confidence, and your actions reinforce your identity.

God declared your value FIRST when He sent Jesus. While you were still a sinner, Christ died for you. You don't have to earn what's already been given. Romans 8:1 reminds us there is NO condemnation for those in Christ Jesus. Stop trying to earn acceptance and start living from the freedom He's already provided.

You discover your purpose by stepping, not sitting. It's time to stop living like you don't matter and start believing what God has been saying about you all along: You are His workmanship, and your life DOES matter.

Your worst moment is not your permanent identity.�

This Sunday, we continued our You Matter series by tackling the three things that hold us back from understanding our worth: the pain of our past, the opinions of others, and a wrong view of God. Your past explains you, but it doesn't define you.�

God doesn't pursue you because of what you can do for Him. He pursues you because you belong to Him. Like the shepherd who leaves 99 sheep to find the one that's lost (Luke 15:4-6), God's love for you isn't based on your usefulness, it’s based on His heart for you.�

Before you can live with purpose, you must first understand your value. We want to encourage you today to stop letting people who can't determine your future to determine your worth. You matter and it’s not because of your performance, but because you're His.��

What are you worth? Not based on your job, your mistakes, or what you do, but based on what someone was willing to pay for you.�

This Memorial Day weekend, we remember those who paid the ultimate price for our freedom. But there's an even greater sacrifice we celebrate: Jesus didn't die for a future version of you, Romans 5:8 says He died "while we were still sinners." Your value isn't determined by who you'll become, it's already settled by the cross.�

The enemy whispers you're worthless, forgotten, too far gone.
But if the price paid determines value of something, then you are worth more than you ever realized, because Christ died for you. You matter and what you do matters greatly because of whose you are.�
