The National Propane Gas Association issued a member alert that celebrates a win for the propane industry and its liquid fuel peers.

According to the alert, the U.S. Department of Energy has issued a slate of program notices providing that nearly $9 billion of Inflation Reduction Act funding may no longer be used to incentivize consumers to switch from propane or other gas heating and cooling systems to electric heat pumps.

NPGA alert: DOE actions to prevent incentivized fuel switching - LP Gas The National Propane Gas Association (NPGA) issued a member alert that celebrates a win for the propane industry and its liquid fuel peers.

Meet the National Propane Gas Association’s new officers. From left in the group photo are Ray Galan of Ferrellgas as treasurer, Trent Hampton of Lakes Gas as chair elect, DD Alexander of Global Gas as the new chair, Chad Kroening of Boehlke Bottled Gas as vice chair and Mike Hopsicker of Ray Murray Inc. as the past chair.

They were sworn in during the mid-year board of directors meeting today in Washington, D.C., ahead of Propane Days.

ADD Systems hosted its largest Business Tech Conference to date in May, welcoming more than 600 attendees representing nearly 100 companies.

The event took place at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts and featured an expanded program of educational sessions, partner exhibits and networking opportunities.
