As we look back on this past year, we are truly overwhelmed with gratitude. Because of loyal customers & partners like you, Hope Seals was able to continue our mission of reliable asphalt maintenance and meaningful second-chance employment for men returning from incarceration.

In 2025, thanks to your support, Hope Seals:
• Served over 300 customers with high-quality asphalt maintenance and restoration
• Provided job training, fair wages, and ongoing support to more than 25 men rebuilding their lives
• Served 800+ meals to men working with us
• Supported continuing education programs & financial literacy campaigns
• Celebrated men coming off parole, supporting their families, getting baptized, obtaining driver’s licenses, and purchasing their own vehicles
• Entered multiple prisons to participate in mock-interviews and re-entry support initiatives

Your business and partnership plays a direct role in these life-changing outcomes, and we could not do this work without you. We are deeply thankful for our repeat customers, our community’s faithful commitment, and the partners, allies, and friends who stand with us year after year.

Looking forward, we are believing for even greater impact through our charitable arm, Hope Stays. We have a commitment from the local land bank for a donated home that will become our first re-entry housing project. With the resources to rehabilitate it, this home will offer life-giving stability & support to the men we serve.

Since Hope Seals LLC was founded in 2020, we have provided consistent quality & value to our customers with full-service asphalt repair & maintenance across Northeast Ohio. BUT our vision has always been clear - we are people who love PEOPLE. Particularly those coming through re-entry. Hope Stays is finally here to provide more of the much-needed wrap around services for the men on our team & in our community that need it most. Recidivism statistics in the U.S. are grim. A 2021 Bureau of Justice Statistics study found that 66% of people released from prison in 24 different states were re-arrested within three years. Hope Stays & Hope Seals are on a mission to break the chain of the unhoused, unemployed, and disconnected from our society for our returning citizens, instilling hope and optimism in their journey.

We can’t do it alone! Working in partnership with Building Hope in the City and the Cuyahoga Land Bank Charities, they have committed to giving Hope Stays a property in the fall of 2024 to completely renovate. These homes are on the demo list and will need a top to bottom restoration. Once this newly renovated home is finished, it will be ready for one of our current (Hope Seals) re-entry team members and their family to rent at a low cost. As this is our first non-profit rehab home through the Land Bank Charities, we are not eligible for a renovation grant from the Land Bank. We are on MISSION to raise $100,000 for our first project that will be the first of many upcoming “Hope” homes in the city!
