Memorial Service for Claude "Larry" Cornett

On Wednesday, June 17, it will be 7 weeks since our Sangha member and good friend Larry Cornett passed away so, in keeping with tradition, we will be holding a memorial service and Lama Chopa for him on that date.

We hope you'll join us and share memories and stories about Larry as we gather to send him off to a fortunate rebirth!

The service will be held on Zoom and is open to the everyone but, because disrupting public Zoom meetings seems to be a "trending" activity, we've set it up so that pre-registration is required. (The link to register is below.)

We just received word that long-time Jewel Heart Cleveland member and beloved friend Larry Cornett passed away on April 30, 2026 from a heart attack. Please remember him in your prayers. He will be deeply missed.

The Six Perfections

In order to help ripen others’ minds four are there."

For a bodhisattva every activity becomes practice, because you are totally committed to the benefit of all sentient beings.

Among the activities of a bodhisattva there are none which do not become part of either one of the six paramitas. You are not going to find any positive activity which is not a part of these six or a negative activity which is not the opposite of it.
